I am a NC native and graduated from ECU’s PA program in 2005. I began my career in primary care with a focus on diabetes before transitioning to inpatient hospitalist medicine 15 years ago at ECU Health Medical Center. I have served in various leadership roles for ECU Health, most recently as the Medical Director of the organization’s Patient Transfer Center and operational leader of the Tele ICU program and other digital health offerings. I have also served in various capacities at the North Carolina Academy of PAs and been on the board for the last 5 years, including serving as President in 2025.
