A compassionate advocate for neurodiversity, Suzy Mayberry brings over eleven years of experience supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders with co-occurring behavioral health conditions. After earning her MSW from East Carolina University, Suzy became a licensed clinical social worker working in rural Eastern North Carolina. In her current role at ECU Health Systems as the Supervisor for Behavioral Health Case Management, she supports the behavioral health resource linkage for patients in the ECU Health Hospital systems. Her career has included roles such as direct support professional, multiple roles within NC START East, training facilitator for the National Center for START Services and outpatient therapist. Through her work, Suzy hopes to promote greater access to resources and support for wellness amongst populations who experience high risk behavioral health symptoms.
