Shelly Massimilla serves as Associate Vice President of IT Acute Clinical Support at McLeod Health System, where she leads enterprise strategies to optimize electronic health records and improve patient safety. With over 15 years of experience in nursing informatics and clinical operations, she has guided organizations through complex EHR implementations, workflow redesigns, and informatics-driven quality initiatives.
Her leadership has contributed to HIMSS Stage 7 and Magnet recognition, as well as critical projects during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shelly has presented at Epic’s User Group Meeting and the American Nursing Informatics Association, sharing insights on leveraging technology to reduce clinical risk and enhance outcomes. She holds a Master’s in Nursing Informatics and Epic certifications in ClinDoc and Stork.
