Kerri earned her Associate Degree of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy in 2019 and subsequently obtained her Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2021. She began her professional journey as a Respiratory Therapist at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC, where she gained experience in emergency department, intensive care unit, and medical-surgical workflows. Kerri developed proficiency in utilizing the Epic electronic health record system and transitioned to the role of Clinical Informatics Specialist at UNC Health in 2023. She currently provides support to numerous end-users of Epic@UNC at UNC Health Southeastern.
