At the request of clinicals for several years. Atrium Health successfully implemented in house merging of duplicate medical records with the guidance of Epic at 40+ acute care facilities at once! We will discuss the scope of the project, criteria for merging, considerations, workflows, testing, key stakeholders and lessons learned to help other organizations achieve this to support patient safety in their organization.
