Beka is a certified Healthy Planet/ Compass Rose builder for Advocate Health. She has over 20 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and has spent the last 8 years in care management in the outpatient sphere. Beka has intimate insight into the varied opportunities for groups that work in outpatient care management.
In current Compass Rose application for Epic, Beka works with more than 30 programs across the length and breadth of the health care system.
She supports a broad spectrum of teammates including community paramedics, social workers, nurse care managers, Faith community workers and physicians. She was one of the main responsible builders as we took our enterprise live with the new Health-Related Social Needs Screening Tool version of the Social Determinants of Health. Helping to allow our teams to be able to assess and address social disparities in our communities per CMS guidelines.
