Amy is a Clinical Informaticist for Ambulatory Service Lines in the Charlotte Market with Advocate Health. With 28 years as an RN, Amy’s clinical experience spans across Womens Health, Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics. Amy has spent 19 years of her career with what is now Advocate Health in various roles, transitioning to Information Technology (IT) in 2015 marking a fusion of her clinical expertise and IT solutions to improve patient outcomes.

Amy is a Bachelor prepared Registered Nurse; board certified in Nursing Informatics. In 2020, Amy joined the Clinical Informatics team with a focus in the Ambulatory space. Amy continues to bridge the clinical and informatics worlds, contributing to the integration of technology into healthcare. Current areas of focus include Womens Health, Transplant, Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, Endocrinology, and Infectious Disease as well as some ancillary departments. Recently, Amy worked with the Healthy Planet team at Advocate Health to create and implement a new Social Drivers of Health screening tool to better assess and address disparities to improve patient outcomes. Amy is EPIC certified in Clinical Informatics and EpiCare Ambulatory.
