Description

As the healthcare industry continues to evolve in a post-Covid era, many health systems have had to redefine their prioritization and project intake processes. Duke Health has implemented a Common Prioritization Framework (CPF) across all verticals of the health system, including clinical care, technology, and academia. This presentation will walk you through what our implementation looked like, lessons learned, and where we are going. The CPF is a standardized approach to prioritizing projects that ensures that the most important projects are given the highest priority. It is designed to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of each vertical, while still maintaining a consistent approach across Duke Health. In this presentation, we will discuss the implementation of the CPF at Duke Health, including the challenges we faced and the lessons we learned. We will also discuss the benefits of the CPF, including improved project prioritization, increased efficiency, and better alignment with strategic goals. Finally, we will discuss where we are going with the CPF, including plans for future improvements and expansion.
