Shannon, an esteemed graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology and Society, has furthered her expertise with a Project Management Professional certification achieved in 2011. A visionary in the field, she pioneered and developed the Epic project management organization at Duke University Health System, which under her guidance, has grown into a leader in clinical project management. This organization has had a profound influence, extending its impact beyond the immediate Health System to encompass the Research organization and the School of Medicine. In her current role as the Director of the Maestro Care PMO, Data Courier, Change Control, and Quality Assurance at Duke Health Technology Solutions (DHTS), Shannon continues to lead with innovation and strategic acumen. Her work in organizational change management has been instrumental in developing processes to assess and prioritize IT projects and optimizations, a testament to her direct contribution to the advancement of Clinical IT Governance.
