I grew up in the Charlotte area and graduated from Queens University with my BSN in 2006. I’ve been with Novant Health for 21 years, starting as a CNA and later working as a bedside RN. While serving as a Research Council Chair in Shared Governance, I found I enjoyed sharing ideas and helping improve practice. As a former Super User for my department, that interest eventually led me into a Clinical Informatics role, where I’ve been for the past two years, focused on making technology work better for clinicians and patients.
