Kelly Sanders is an HCS Apps Systems Analyst Senior with the Information Services Division at UNC Health in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She began her career in 2007 as a staff nurse in Pediatrics and transitioned into Nursing Informatics in 2012 at UNC Nash Healthcare. In 2015, Kelly earned her master’s in nursing informatics from the University of Alabama, further strengthening her passion for bridging clinical practice and technology. Throughout her career, Kelly has been an innovator and a driving force behind numerous systemwide initiatives. She is deeply committed to enhancing clinician experiences and optimizing outcomes through thoughtful, user‑centered electronic medical record design. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time at the lake and the beach with her family and friends, recharging in the places she loves most.
