This session explores Advocate’s implementation of nightly Merge by Vector (MBV) to automate duplicate patient record resolution. Attendees will learn how vector-based merging offers greater precision than traditional IDC score methods, how to navigate the vector review process, and how to build safeguards to prevent incorrect merges/co-mingled records. With over 19,000 successful merges completed YTD—equivalent to the workload of one full-time employee—this presentation highlights the operational impact and key lessons learned from optimizing MBV.
