This presentation will showcase how Advocate Health modernized the notification process for critical lab results in Ambulatory care, transitioning from manual phone calls to automated push notifications delivered through Epic’s Hyperspace, Haiku, and Canto platforms. The previous reliance on phone calls was inefficient and contributed to delays in patient care, whereas the new workflow leverages Epic’s Closed Loop Critical Results Communication to ensure Ambulatory clinicians receive timely notifications of critical results.
