Dr. Brothers is a pediatric cardiologist with Novant Health Pediatric Cardiology in Charlotte, NC. He is also Adjunct Assistant Professor in Department of Pediatrics at University of North Carolina where he serves as preceptor for medical students. Dr. Brothers practices general pediatric cardiology, including preventative cardiology, stress testing, and fetal echocardiography. He is also actively involved in the electronic health records committee at Novant Health as an Epic Physician Builder. Dr. Brothers has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Williams College in Williamstown, MA. Before entering medical school, he was a second-grade teacher in Atlanta, GA as a member of Teach For America. Dr. Brothers graduated from the University of North Carolina - School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology training at Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. He was born and raised in Durham, NC. Dr. Brothers is married with three children, Mia age 13, Calvin age 10, and Zara age 4.
