Chris Taylor, MHS, PA-C is an Epic Physician Builder, Cardiology Physician Assistant, and Cardiology Departmental Epic Champion with degrees from NC State, ECU, and Duke. She has been a PA since 2000 and a Physician Builder since 2017. She practices at WakeMed Health and Hospitals, which has inpatient facilities in Raleigh and Cary, North Carolina, as well as multiple free-standing emergency departments in the surrounding communities. Chris has a passion for streamlining documentation and builds that work for the provider, with a focus on accurate and efficient documentation, guiding best practice, and reducing mortality. Chris previously presented her SmartForm for MI and heart failure in Epic Physician Builder spotlight #56 in June of 2023, showing a reduction in relative risk of mortality associated with use of the SmartForm.
