In support of a laboratory strategic objective to achieve $2 million in savings for referral testing, the Beaker Teams from Advocate Health Midwest (MW) and Advocate Health Southeast (SE) implemented Phase 1 of a multiphase project to develop an interface between our two Epic platforms. The star of this show became the implementation of Instrument Ready Barcodes, across instances, increasing outreach volume, streamline specimen processing, and increasing the systems Return on Investment.
