Navigating and managing the OR schedule can be a challenging task for surgeons, schedulers and OR leadership. Epic's OR Marketplace aims to help surgeons and their schedulers find open times for cases they need to schedule. Implementation of this and the accompanying toolset helps to efficiently manage available OR time by reclaiming unused time and advertising it to surgeons who may have a fitting case. This session will cover the key steps taken in a recent successful implementation, and highlight important lessons learned throughout the process.
