Amanda Kenworthy, RDN, LDN, CPHIMS is a Clinical Informaticist in the Charlotte Market of Advocate Health. With 18 years at Advocate, Amanda has been involved with workflow design of multiple electronical medical record systems and healthcare technology programs. Most recently, she was the informaticist tasked with designing and implementing clinical workflows for the Nutrition MAR and Hospital at Home programs. She continues to support the Clinical Nutrition Service Line with workflow efficiencies and has added consultant pathways and service line and ancillary support workflows for Hospital at Home.

Amanda is a graduate of North Carolina State University and completed her Registered Dietetic Internship at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She completed clinical rotations at Carolinas Medical Center in 2004 and practiced as a clinical dietitian for her first six years at what is now Advocate Health. She served as principal trainer for an electronic medication record conversion in 2009 and joined the informatics team in 2010. With an ancillary department background and wide clinical workflow understanding, she brings depth of knowledge and clinical expertise to the informatics team. Amanda is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare and Information Management Systems and is Epic Certified in Clinical Informatics and Clinical Documentation.
