I am beginning my 11th year as an Application Analyst for ECU Health, primarily serving the Inpatient Orders and Clinical Documentation applications. Healthcare and electronic health record were unknown terms to me 10 years ago, but I have thoroughly enjoyed learning something brand new that can have a positive impact on my local community. Because of my background in systems engineering, I am passionate about standardization and efficiency. In our current economy both are vital not only to the survival of healthcare, but also directly impact financials and patient satisfaction. I thrive on solving clinical issues and challenging the norm to design and/or create system improvements to make our clinicians' roles a little easier.

Outside of work I am inspired daily by my beautiful twin girls, Gentry and Gabbi, age 6, and my supportive husband, Brandon. We mostly enjoy sand between our toes at the beach and boating on our local river.
