Sarah McNulty, MSW, LCSW, APHSW-C, is a Hospice Clinical Social Worker with Duke HomeCare and Hospice. She has over 15 years of medical social work experience and has specialized in hospice care for the past five years.

The Dorothy and Comfort module of the Epic is Sarah’s third Epic rollout and her second as a super user. She feels the support services have a voice, and a meaningful assessment would enhance patient care.

Sarah obtained her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, and her Master of Social Work from Smith College School of Social Work in Northampton, MA. She is a licensed clinical social worker in NC and has an Advanced Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker Certificate from the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center. As a yoga student for over 20 years, Sarah received her Yoga Teacher Certification from Triad Yoga Institute in Greensboro, NC. Sarah is a Duke School of Medicine student pursuing a Master of Management in Clinical Informatics, Class of 2024.
