Da-Vida White is the Associate Chief Nursing Officer – Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs for Duke University Health System in Durham, NC. Within her role, she provides oversight and direction in establishing and maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving, disseminating, and assuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards and the quality of standards of clinical practice. Direct clinical and administrative operations; oversee development and implementation of plans, operations, and programs across Clinical Service Units. She also oversees Accreditation and Regulatory Affairs across Duke University Health System.

Da-Vida began her nursing career at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, NC, on a surgical unit. Her clinical experience includes working in Critical Care, Surgical ICU, and Medical/Surgical Nursing. Previously, she worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, NC. Da-Vida has held various leadership roles, including Chief Nursing Executive and other progressive nursing leadership roles.

Da-Vida is a graduate of Catawba Valley Community College, Hickory, NC, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from American Sentinel University in Denver, CO. She is a member of the North Carolina Nurses Association, American Organization for Nursing Leadership, American Nurses Association, Baptist Nurse Fellowship, and American College of Healthcare Executives, among others.
