Jennifer graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s in science from Fayetteville State University with a degree in management information systems.
She has worked in the healthcare industry since 2018. In 2019, she began her career as an Epic analyst and obtained her first Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing. Furthering her skill set, she achieved certifications in HB and PB claims and remittance and became Southeastern Health’s HB claims analyst. After joining UNC Health’s team in 2021, her primary role shifted focus from HB acute claims to specialty billing and claims for non-acute lines of businesses such as home health, hospice, long-term care, and ambulatory surgery centers. Currently, she holds multiple Epic certifications.
