With 2 years of experience working in the emergency department and another 6 years working in urgent care as a Physician Assistant, I bring a unique provider perspective to our Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation team. My first major project with our team has been working on Downsizing Documentation across MedSurg and ICU departments. I am glad I can make a positive impact on both the clinical team and the patients by helping make day to day workflow for our clinical staff more efficient and less of a burden. The less time our clinical team needs to focus on documenting, the more time they are able to focus on patient care. We plan to move forward with streamlining documentation throughout additional inpatient departments within Cone Health.
