Dr. Michelle Matthews is the medical director of the Fertility Center at Atrium Health as well as the director of Fertility Preservation. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She completed her residency at Summa Health System in Ohio and her fellowship training at Rush Presbyterian Medical Center in Chicago. She is currently a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wake Forest University Medical School. Her awards include both the American Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology national resident and medical student teaching awards, Atrium Health Pinnacle Award nominee, Best Doctors in America and Charlotte Top Doctors.
