Description
ECU Health converted their Labor and Delivery Triage department to an Obstetric Emergency Departments (OB ED) to improve patient care, safety, and satisfaction while boosting hospital revenue and relationships with local providers. We implemented the Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) which is an acuity scoring tool, and the Facility Charge Calculator (FCC) to automatically capture patient charges during their OB ED visit.
