CancelRx is an e-prescribing tool that electronically communications medication discontinuation orders between EHRs and pharmacies, allowing for accurate medication lists and reduced pharmacy calls. If the provider and pharmacy are enabled for electronic cancellations, providers will no longer have to call the pharmacy to cancel a prescription and prevent future dispenses.
