Accurate documentation of Involuntary Commitment and Chain of Custody processes are challenging to achieve owing largely to the legal requirements being external to the EHR. The presentation outlines the workflow implemented, using a variety of build tools/techniques, to capture key details in the EHR. The workflow was well adopted and enabled clinical decision support to further aid with compliance as well as improved reporting capabilities.
