Over the past several years education has gone through some very challenging and exciting changes brought on by a global pandemic. Although most feel that the trend in education was moving towards more of an online emphasis, the pandemic brought an urgency about how do we get from where we are to where we need to be. At ECU Health we had to pivot along with the rest of the world and adjust how we educate and train our end users in a short amount of time. Moving from face-to-face classroom training, to completely online, to a hybrid model has been a rough but exciting journey. During this presentation, we will discuss how the ECU Health Informatics Education department transitioned our education models through the past three years. We then will look to where we want to be in the future taking advantage of new technologies and tools to build a strong and vibrant learning community.
