In this presentation, we will share our experience of running a generative AI pilot for Epic’s Generated Draft Replies feature in In Basket. We will discuss how we structured the pilot, how we work on AI prompt engineering, and what lessons we learned from the process. We will also present perspectives from analysts who configured and maintain the functionality, as well as from project management. Our goal is to provide insights for those interested in implementing generative AI features in their Epic system.
