Learn how a multi-site tertiary care hospital system created a Care Path to support bedside nurses with documentation and compliance for a new dynamic post-foley removal retention algorithm for adult patients. We will discuss use of BPAs, worklist tasks, and dynamic logic reminders of next steps on the Care Path, all to reduce reinsertion after removal. Lastly, we will discuss challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned, as well as outcomes.
