This recent work has focused on understanding the use of patient portals in rural communities. Patient portals, such as EPIC MyChart, are a valuable tool for enhancing patient engagement and can improve healthcare delivery. In this presentation, I will discuss the approach and results from our recently published study, which explored the association between the use of the messaging feature of the patient portal and multimorbidity.
